Water-sorb Polyacrylamide water crystals are non-toxic and ecologically safe and have been in use since 1942. When used in agriculture, it is capable of capturing approximately 50% of irrigation and rainwater which it then stores for later use by the plants. 

Other uses include cool ties, insect watering, dust control i.e. equestrian arenas & volleyball courts, hot and cold packs, smelly jelly air fresheners, cigar humidifiers, home gardens and commercial landscaping.
